Privacy Policy

The short version: Melo Pro doesn’t collect your data. Your voice, your songs and your scores are analyzed on your device and are never sent to us.
Who we are
Melo Pro is made by Dream Tailors LLC (“we”, “us”). Contact: support@melopro.app.
What stays on your device
- Audio you add (songs, stems, instrumentals) and the vocals separated from them.
- Your voice from the microphone, used live to measure pitch and timing, and the recordings of your takes if you keep them.
- Lyrics you paste, and lyrics written down from a song’s vocal by Apple’s on-device speech recognition.
- Scores, practice history, sets, show dates, warm-ups and your voice profile.
All of this is processed on your device. We don’t operate servers that receive it, and the app contains no analytics, advertising or tracking code.
iCloud
If iCloud is on for Melo Pro, your library and settings sync through your own private iCloud database so they appear on your other devices. This data is stored by Apple under your Apple Account and is not accessible to us. You can turn sync off in Melo Pro’s Settings › Library & storage. Apple’s handling of iCloud data is described in Apple’s Privacy Policy.
Permissions
- Microphone: used only while you practice, warm up, use the tuner or take the voice type test.
- Speech recognition: runs on your device to write down lyrics from a song’s vocal track.
- Notifications: only to remind you before a free trial ends, if you allow it.
Purchases
Subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We receive no payment details. Apple may share aggregated sales information with us, as it does with all developers.
Diagnostics
If you’ve chosen to share analytics with app developers in your device’s settings, Apple may provide us with anonymized crash reports and usage statistics. You control this in Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements.
Content you add
Songs and lyrics you add stay on your device and in your private iCloud. We never see them, use them or share them.
Children
Melo Pro is suitable for all ages and collects no personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
Your choices
Delete a song, a take or the whole app at any time to remove its data from your device. Data in your private iCloud can be removed by turning off iCloud for Melo Pro and deleting its data in Settings › your name › iCloud › Manage Storage.
Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and its effective date. Material changes will also be noted in the app’s release notes.
